I see that I still owe you 10 snow cards.... Well, I am working on them today. Christmas was wonderful and spending time with the family was fantastic. Tonight I am ignoring all duties upstairs and hanging out with my stamps, inks, cricut, cuttlebug, computer etc. YAY ME!
And, I got 100% caught up on my photos. It took me 4 hours to sort and label for the past 6 months. Now I get to order them and get ready to scrapbook again. For now, let's see what we can do about this goal I made... Posting soon!

Oh dear. I owe you some cards! Forgive me. And I am going to pull some of my favorites. I think I owe you like 10 SNOW cards. YIKES! And Christmas is less than a week away. And then, the new year ... for new things.... new goals... new challenges... and new successes!
Here are a few cards....
I really got into this patchwork thing. So, you will see a lot of these. They are fun to do, take some time, but always look nice. I have done these with cats and dogs too. You will see those later. For now, we are sticking with the winter theme and Christmas theme yes?
These bears from Stampin Up are additcting too. I spend weekends cutting them out. I have a whole stack of them waiting for the right card. You will see them alot too. The trees are easy. Just pick your favorite printed paper and make triangles. The snow is torn white paper highlighted with glitter. Diamond Dust also from Stampin Up.

Christmas Tree Bear
This is 0ne of my favorite cards. Created by me. I was addicted to cutting out the bears from Stampin Up. What better way to top the tree than a gold star brad. I think I may try to make modifications to this by adding snowy glitter, or a new texture for the tree. Ok, so how many cards is this now? Remember, I am not starting until JANUARY for my card a day. And I am still doing snowmen. I owe you ten snow cards.

The first snow - my inspiration for the first card of this blog
This is what happened with the inspiration of our first snow of 2010. I made 3 of these cards in different styles and was also inspired by my kids who joined me and nearly crowded me out of my own craft space. They are so luck that their mom has so many fun crafty things to play with.
And yes, I did use a scrap. The striped paper you see was left over from a series of penguins that I did. For the next week or so, I will be doing snow related cards. I really wish you could see the diamond glitter that I used to enhance the snowy blue shadows.

Inspiration - first snowfall
The challenge is to create 10 snow man cards in one week.
GOOD LUCK!

The beginning, the challenge and the inspiration.
If I were to say that the intentions were to start off and do an entry every day in December, I would say that I am already late. BUT, if I tell you that my intentions are to take this seriously and start January, I would be very happy to say that I am ahead of the game!
Not a game, a challenge. I am so grateful to be 100% completely inspired by a great friend. One who has known me and one who never lets me be anything but me. No more waiting around for things to happen. Its all up to me. The things that I have always wanted to do... what am I waiting for. No more waiting.
Why SAVE THE SCRAPS? Because I have always saved the scraps! As far back as I can remember. There is always something to be done with scraps. And I have always kept them because I knew that I would need them some day. So, no more pushing them aside.
Today's inspiration came easy. You will see in the photos. Our new home's first snow. It was thick as it fell, so very quiet. And so,there/here is where it begins. With inspiration.

There was actually a whole lot more inspiration that took place tonight. And you will see that in the upcoming photos as well. My kids really gave me drive tonight. They really are good to have around. Sometimes I think that I want to create while in a zone, but tonight I found out that if you can leave yourself open for options, so many more ideas come along. THANKS to my kids for a great evening!

Today's snow was fantastic. It snowed for hours. Fluffly, white, large snowflakes. By the time it was done, we had two inches. PERFECT. And it is only saturday. Even better. I get another day to be creative. I bet you can't wait!
